A book about finding a place in society,
The House on Mango Street is one of my favorites now. Instead of a fluid story, the book is a series of small diary entries that ultimately tie into a whole theme. Originally, I didn’t think I’d enjoy this book as it was for school, but the story of Esperanza was one that me and many others can surely relate to. I would definitely recommend it!
