This book was really good, and the fact that it's a series made me want to read more and more! The main character has a secret past and the love interest has an evil brother. It's a thrilling adventure we go on and I can't wait to read further!

The book is about a girl who loses her old house in a mysterious fire. She goes to a new school and has to navigate her way through relationships, friendships, etc, all while hiding it from her parents. Will her secrets get out?

Refugee by Alan Gratz

 

Refugee was an important book about three different kids (Josef, Isabel, and Mahmoud). Their stories take place in three different time periods but they're all trying to get away from their country because of the wars they are facing. It's a good book that teaches you new things and gives you a new perspective on the world!
