The Princess Diaries series is a great series for teenage girls. They're the type of books that you just can't put down. They are full of love, friends, and lots more. I recommend these books to any teenage girl. I finished all nine books in less than three weeks.

The Dragon Princess by E. D. Baker

The Dragon Princess was so amazing and magical. This book is perfect for somebody who loves magic and suspense. I love how the author used many mythical creatures in addition to the main characters dragon, wizard, bat, and troll. It is always fun to read behind the eyes of a princess. Princess Millie is no ordinary princess though, when she gets really angry she turns into a hideous green scaly dragon. Rating: 4 out of 5

The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot

The Princess Diaries is about a normal girl that finds out after 15 years that she is a princess. Mia is not like other girls that wish to be princesses. She just wants to be a normal person with a normal life. But she has to. It's in her blood. To be a princess, she has to do a couple things. She has to make sure that nobody at her school finds out about her being a princess, she has to go to princess training with her grandmother, and act like a princess at the same time. She faces a couple challenges on the way. She was almost going to give up the throne, but she stopped herself and continued to be the princess. At the end, she became the Princess of Genovia.

Ever by Gail Carson Levine

Ever is an outstanding fantasy novel written by Gail Carson Levine. It's about an ordinary mortal girl named Kezi, being confronted with a terrible destiny. But meeting Olus, an extraordinary immortal man, who is also known as god of loneliness and winds, made an unexpected twist in her life. Their unbelievable love for each other and eagerness to fight against their destiny proved that fate can be thwarted or happy endings could indeed happen. It's not perfect but it sure is an amazing story set in a stunning world of flawed gods, unbreakable vows, and ancient omens. I would rate it 3 / 5 for it has a good storyline & message but some things are in fact imaginary/fantasy and therefore unrealistic compared to our reality world. However, what I most loved about reading the book is how it gets you into the story as if you were somehow part of it. Rating: 3 out of 5

Fairest is a really great fantasy book. You step into the shoes of the main character and her life. She goes through many adventures like living with gnomes and falling in love. Rating: 3 out of 5

Fairest by Gail Carson Levine

Whoa!!! That's the first word I've managed to say as I started reading Fairest. Why?! 'Cause I can't imagine how I would ever have write anything like Levine's book. Well, obviously, FAIREST is just so FANTASTIC!!! The scenes are awesome.The characters seems so real. The setting is just perfect. BEST of ALL, the imagery and the imagination of LEVINE is just so GREAT!!! I, myself, have been dreaming of being an author someday, but honestly, I just don't know if I would ever published a book at first or "Would I ever be an author?!." I know that it's way too soon to think about that kind of things, but for me, someone's FUTURE is the most important thing to decide on. I just absolutely admired the book; the way it was narrated and told from AZA'S point of view. I just love the way things are continuable and it seems that everything's just going on the right flow. Well, here's the plot of the BEST book I've ever read: AZA, as I've mentioned before, is the main character. In spite of being an orphan, life is just okay since the family (parents) who adapted her treated her well; no any difference the way they treated their own children. BUT despite of having such an enormous VOICE (like being able to "throw" her VOICE so it will seem to come from anywhere she wanted it to be) she doesn't possess the other characteristic that's mostly prized to the KINGDOM of AYORTHA, which is BEAUTY. It's a FAIRY TALE story that will FORCE you to stay steady and NOT stop reading it 'til the end. It's a very CHALLENGING book which includes lots of complicated issues/problems that will eventually lead into a FAIRY TALE come true. In other words, as what most people would likely say, it's ANOTHER happily EVER AFTER story that you MUST really try READING. But as I BELIEVE in most of the BOOKS I've read, books like FAIREST may seems BEST, but NO book is PERFECT (well, that's on MY opinion). Rating: 4 out of 5

A Royal Pain by Ellen Conford

Whoa!!! A Royal Pain is just a real sweet and funny book... I've never read such a book before... It's a story about a sixteen-year-old teenager named Abby Adams, who discovers her real identity... That she really is Princess Florinda XVI... A real princess of a small European monarchy known as Saxony Coburn... At first, she just couldn't take it... But then, when she learns more about the whole thing, she began believing that such a thing is actually possible... Then, she starts dreaming of what being a princess might actually feel like... Soon, she finally agreed to take on her duties in the royal palace as a princess... But, unlike what people believe, the life of a princess isn't just all about fun, excitement, and attending royal dances... As it turns out to Abby, it isn't just about that sort of thing... Lots of rules had to be obeyed... She was supposed to be really different from her true self... She just couldn't bear it... All of what she expects is just not happening... Things turn out to be exactly the opposite... She just wants to get home and be with her own family and friends... She doesn't want this kind of life... All she wants is a simple normal life, where you have the freedom to do what you like... In the following days, she decided to become a real 'Royal Pain'... She figured out that if she disobeyed their rules and does what she isn't supposed to, they would probably get rid of her... They'd send her back to her own country... Away from the terrible life of royal rules and duties... After facing difficulties, she actually achieved exactly the life she was looking for ever since... And as things began to clear out, she figured that life could turn out to be just right... To be the way she expects it to be... Not the real 'perfect' one, but just a normal & fair life... Just having the faith in something helps a lot to achieved something you longed for... You don't have to force it to be that way, but just go with the flow, and do what's wise... Just do what you think is right!!! I just love the book... That's all!!! Rating: 4 out of 5
