Very interesting and hilarious.

The Legend of Luke by Brian Jacques

Ever wanted to read a classic-style quest book?  The Legend of Luke is here for you!  It starts with a wandering maid named Trimp.  It then goes on, showing the warriors of Redwall.  They are mashed together to go on an epic quest to find a legend...  This book is recommended for enjoyers of classic questing fiction.

Life of Pi by Yann Martel

My rating for Life of Pi is 4.5.  The main reason is it is a survival fiction.  It is a great book; if I were to recommend this book to someone.  The reason I cut .5 is from page 59-79 it was the most boring parts of my life.

The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

The book is about a boy who stole a lightning bolt.  Or, at least that's what every god thinks.  The plot is extremely interesting with lots of twists and turns.  It's a full experience, reading this book.  The book also leads to an amazing series with lots of amazing stories.  Overall, this book is amazing.

Percy Jackson: Chalice of the Gods by Rick Riordan

The original trio is back! Percy is on a quest for college application letters with his friends by his side. Percy, Annabeth, and Grover meet godly friends, old and new, in this thrilling installment in the Percy Jackson universe. Definitely worth reading for all the fans of Percy!

Shadow & Flame by Mindee Arnett

This book is the gripping sequel to Onyx & Ivory and starts off with an action-filled prologue leading into an epic fantasy. The main character, Kate, and a prisoner named Clash find themselves entwined in an epic conflict and are both faced to make difficult decisions. This book is an instant classic and is hard to put down.

The Brothers Hawthorne by Jennifer Lynne Barnes

This book is such a great story.  It just came out and after I got it, I didn’t want to put it down.  This book has the action, adventure, and wittiness you would want in a book about the Hawthorne brothers along with Avery.  This is a great book and would 100% recommend.

Inkheart by Cornelia Funke

What would you do if characters from a book sprang to life in your living room?  In Inkheart, the main character, Meggie, saw her mom get sucked into a story, and its characters came to life.  Meggie and her father, Mo, get sucked into the conflict in the book, a desperate battle against the men of Capricorn in a world where fantasy and fairy tales go wrong…

The Land of Stories: The Enchantress Returns by Chris Colfer

It was an amazing book to read!  I would definitely recommend it to people who love mystery and a little bit of fantasy.  The plot thickens a lot which makes it an amazing book for mystery lovers.

In the Lord of Middle-Earth, trouble is brewing. Frodo Baggins, a Hobbit, has undertaken a dangerous task. Frodo must deliver the Ring of Power to the heart of Mordor while being chased by Sauron’s minions. This amazing, action-packed fantasy trilogy is one you do not want to miss.

It’s one of the best books I’ve ever read. It has a lot of interesting characters.

The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate

It was about a gorilla who got captured when he was just a baby. He was brought to a mall to be displayed. There, he meets Ellie, who was also captured. Bella, the cleaner’s daughter, shares a special bond with Ivan through art. The plot thickens as a new baby elephant gets captured and used in a circus. But Ellie begs Ivan to save the elephant’s life because she doesn’t have much time left.

OMG. It is so good. There are so many plot twists and turns that you can never expect what happens next. I read this in a few hours around my work for school. SO GOOD!!!! Can’t wait to read the other 2.
