How to Speak Dolphin by Ginny Rorby
Lily's brother, Adam, is autistic. He has been since he was two years old. Their father died in a war. Then their mother died in a car crash. Now their stepfather, Don, is the only adult in the house. Don does not like to do much about Adam's autism until they meet an injured dolphin named Nori. An amazing story about Lily and a friend trying to save Nori and Adam at the same time.
