More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera
Despite my high hopes after reading the premise (especially after skimming a sea of positive reviews), Silvera failed to fully develop his characters first and foremost, thus never capturing his audience's interest, and then ineffectively attempted to create plot by losing his grasp on his characters' goals. Overall, I believe that a lot of revision and reconsideration of what Silvera was trying to convey through his words would have made the book more bearable.
