Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
A chilling prediction for the future of physical books and independent thought. I believe that this novel was very interesting. It follows the character Guy Montag, a mindless drone who works as a firefighter. In this (practically post-apocalyptic) world, firefighters burn books, since books are seen as an object for the ostentatiously educated. As the book continues, Montag opens his eyes and his heart to books as he escapes the grasp of his authoritarian society.
