Unwind by Neal Shusterman
This is an amazing book! It takes place in the modern-day USA, except in this world there are a set of laws on life rights. They basically say that life is sacred from conception until age 13, but from age 13 to 18, troublesome teens can become forced organ donors. The story follows Connor, Risa, and Lev as they try to escape from Juviecops and survive until they reach 18.

The Infects by Sean Beaudoin
A great book with many cliffhangers with a lot of suspense. If you like horror and zombie types of books, you'll 100% like this book.

Ask My Mood Ring How I Feel by Diana Lopez
It was a really nice book that showed how the protagonist reacted to her mom having cancer. She participated in a fundraiser to help with cancer.

The Martian by Andy Weir
This is a really gripping sci-fi/thriller story! Some suspension of disbelief is required, but the story and its trials for our humorous hero Mark Watney kept me on the edge of my seat, and I was always wondering what would happen next. After all, when one is stuck on Mars, they would certainly need feats of ingenuity to survive...

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J. K. Rowling
This was a great book, with lots of adventure and many funny parts as well. The experiences Harry Potter experiences are very strange, funny, and never lacking a bit of magic. I really recommend this book.
