This was a pretty good book about the struggles that Asian-Americans face in the US. The book is specifically about a Japanese girl named Hana who comes to America to get married. It was pretty interesting and emotional.
(There is a movie by the same name with a similar storyline; it is not based on this novel, but there are a lot of similarities! You might want to experience both and see how they line up. - Miss Jennie)
