Dairy Queen is a very fun and humorous book. It's about a girl named D.J. and her life on her family's farm. While training Brian Nelson, quarterback on the Hawley football team, D.J. gains interest in trying out for the Red Bend football team. That could be a problem since she would be playing against Brian, someone who she hated before, but got to know over the weeks and became friends with.
