This book is a great novel about a girl named Grace, who ever since her mom was shot in front of her eyes, has been hunting for the killer. After returning to Embassy Row to live with her grandfather, Grace finds herself once again at odds with the Scarred Man, but along with her new friends, she must try and save the society of Embassy Row before it all. Falls. Down.

Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy
This book start out sad but gets very exciting very quickly. It is also outrageously funny as Skulduggery is soooo funny. he's got a great sense of humor for someone who's been dead for a few hundred years. This book is action packed and is an all around great book.
Racing in the Rain: My Life as a Dog by Garth Stein
I like this book because it is very eventful. There are many life-changing events and the characters are relatable. It is told from the perspective of a funny dog who loves his family and can do nothing but watch as their lives change drastically.

The Assassin's Curse by Cassandra Rose Clarke
I rate this book a 5 because it was a really eventful and climatic book. This book is about a girl named Ananna and she was supposed to get married off to another pirate clan but instead, she runs away. The other clan sends an assassin to kill Ananna but instead, she saves his life and he gets a curse that says he has to protect her because she saved his life.
Daughter of the Deep by Rick Riordan
A nice book, not my most favorite, because there is a lot of tragedy, but there was a lot of emotion changes and everything moves very fast.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days by Jeff Kinney
It tells a story of a person named Greg and it is written in first person. When you start reading it, it is hard to stop. Also it is popular so I would recommend around 8+ to read it.

Wings of Fire by Tui Sutherland
This book is good because it ties on with the rest of the series and it also shows the perspectives of each person in the book in the different series. I am a nerd for these books (like Ms. Rebecca!) because of the dragons.

Harry Potter (series) by J. K. Rowling
It's a very imaginative series that is captivating to all ages, and is a fun but challenging series. Gets a little confusing towards the end, though. Still has role-model characters for young readers to look up to and follow.

The Elite by Kiera Cass
I have not finished the book, but so far it's an amazing book. It's about these two people, Maxon and America and they both like each other, but won't say it. So far America just confessed her love for Maxon and she is now embarrassed that she said that.

This amazing book is about two Ukrainian girls who are accused of supporting the Nazis. This, of course, is nowhere near the truth, and the girls put themselves in life-threatening situations so that they can get the freedom that they deserve.
