It's an amazing and funny book! The plot thickens when Nikky (the main character) and one of her friends (Brandon) find 8 puppies and 1 dog to find a home. They had to hide the puppies in their principal's office and under their beds. In the end...well, that would be spoilers!

The Twits by Roald Dahl
I thought it was really funny. Definitely one of my personal favorites of his books, although the animal cruelty was very sad.
The Wordhord: Daily Life in Old English by Hana Videen
The Wordhord is about the Old English language/Old Norse language. I really enjoyed this book because ancient languages are fascinating. Though the book isn't intended specifically for teens, I extremely enjoyed it.
Vials by Kathy Reichs
It is an interesting series for middle and high schoolers, since they are around the same age as the protagonists. The characters are developed well and easy to relate to, despite the science fiction theme.

Blade Breaker by Victoria Aveyard
Blade Breaker is amazing!!! A thrilling adventure that rivals the first book. I love it so much. If you get very frustrated by cliffhangers, don't read it until the third book comes out.

The Final Gambit by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
I was very happy with this book. It was the third one in the series. It definitely set it up for either a spinoff series or another book so I will be very disappointed if there isn't another book.
