The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson

It is a very classic book and I doubt people are not aware of it, however I think it is a very captivating book and is very short and easy for teens to grasp.

The Forgotten Girl by India Hill Brown

This book is a perfect mix of creepy & emotional as it talks about the past of African Americans and how they were mistreated.

The Librarian of Auschwitz by Antonio Iturbe

The Librarian of Auschwitz is about exactly what the title says - a librarian in the German concentration camp of Auschwitz.  The librarian is a Jewish prisoner in the camp, who keeps track of the illegal books in the camp, and lends them to the prisoners who would like to read them.  The book is a very detailed account of what happened to some prisoners in the German concentration camp of Auschwitz.  I believe everyone should read this book sometime in their lives to educate themselves on the topic.

Confessions of a Murder Suspect by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro

5 out of 5!  A-MA-ZING!!!

Frankly in Love by David Yoon

This book was one of my favorite books and it was about racism and a second generation immigrant and his daily life and one day, Frank's dad got shot and his whole world was turned upside down.  Shortly after, Frank's dad was diagnosed with 3rd degree cancer and his doctor said that he only had a few months to live and keep in mind, this is Frank's senior year, who knows what will happen next?!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 (movie)

This is my fave Harry Potter movie and the last one, in this one.  Death Eaters and Voldemort are trying to kill Harry Potter.  Harry and his friends have to race against time to destroy/kill all of Voldemort horcruxes (which, all destroyed, kill him).  Do they kill him or does he live and kill Harry?  You will have to watch to find out in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.

It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini

It was a very relatable read.  It portrayed mental health in an enlightening and humorous way.  It was pleasant to see a kid who struggled with mental health who wasn't completely depressing, yet was still conveyed in a realistic light.

Darius the Great is Not Okay by Adib Khorram

Darius the Great is Not Okay is an amazing novel telling the story of friendship and first generation immigrants.  It is a great story that I highly recommend to all teenagers.
